KENNEWICK, Wash., July 21 (AP) -- Pay 'n Pak won the world championship regatta for unlimited hydroplanes today in a confusing final heat.
George Henley, a 37-year-old rookie driver from Eatonville, Wash., earned two firsts and a second :in three heats in the Seattle-based Pak, including a first in the final heat.
His first heat victory came after Miss Budweiser had blown an engine and gone dead in the water on the second lap.
Pizza Pete of Detroit, driven by Fred Alter, was second.
