With Miss Pay 'n Save under Chuck Hickling leading unlimited hydroplanes by virtue of an Apple Cup Race victory earlier this month, drivers are marking time until their next chance to rack up American Power Boat Association points when the Detroit Memorial Race gets the starting gun on July 4.

The APBA reports that Jack Schaefer's renovated Such Crust IV, to be renamed Thunderbolt, will probably be entered in the competition here. The unlimited high-point schedule now appears complete for the season with the additional events now booked: Diamond Cup, Coeur D'Arlene, Ida., July 18-19; Gold Cup, Seattle, Aug. 9; Silver Cup, Detroit, Aug. 29; International Sweepstakes Trophy Race, Buffalo, N.Y., Sept. 5-6; President's Cup, Washington, D.C., Sept. 19-20; Governor's Cup, Madison, Ind., Sept. 26-27, and the Sahara Hotel Trophy, Las Vegas, Nev., Oct. 21.
