Miss Supertest Finishes Third

St. Clair, Mich., July 17 [1955] (CP) — J.S. Thompson's Miss Supertest of Sarnia, Ont., driven by Bill Braden, placed third today in the International Trophy speedboat race on the St. Clair River.

Miss Supertest, only Canadian entry in the race, forced out in the final heat with fuel line trouble, scored 525 points.

The race was won by Jack Schafer's Such Crust III, driven by Walter Kade. The twin-engine unlimited class speedboat captured the first two heats and finished second in the third for 1,100 points out a possible 1,200. Its average speed was 73.585 miles an hour.
